While the Instructional Design Coordinator for the College of Public Health (Margaret Murphy) was watching one of the videos I made for her, the new Dean of the college (Amy Fairchild) walked in and liked the video. She asked if I was able to make her a video to welcome undergraduate and graduate students to the college.
That's how this video came to be.
I was instructed to make the video fun, but not as fun as a previous video I had created. I took that on myself to make it fun AND professional, a decently hard task to meet, especially when you're working with a high figure in a professional work setting. Margaret, Amy, and I all feel that this completed video exudes that quality I was searching for.
